What is this?
I have a lot of characters. A lot. Most of them I impulse bought and will not use. Some of them are characters that just haven't sold. But all of the ones on this sheet have one thing in common: I never really used them. However, instead of selling them off, what I want to do is give them to people who will at least do more than what I did - buy them and let them sit in my roster forever. Some of them have extra art, but I won't say which ones to add to the fun of this and focus more on the attachment to the design.

If you're interested in a character, you must first claim a hold. If the character you want is already held, you will be put on the waitlist. Why do I have people hold the characters first? Well, there are a series of things you do to get the character, and the last thing I want is for someone who spent hours pouring their soul into their work to do everything they need to do to get it only to find out someone else half assed their work to get it done immediately and snipe the character. When you hold a character, you have 24 hours to complete the adoption requirements - if you don't submit it by the time those 24 hours are up, the next person on the waitlist for that character will be given the opportunity to do the adoption task.

To get a character you must do any 3 of these things!
> Make an icon for the character and set it as your avatar for a little while.
> Create a reference sheet for the character.
> Write out a description of this character with at least a name, personality, 5 likes, 5 dislikes, interests and history.
> Draw something colored (colored sketch, flatcolor, shaded, anything!) and fullbody of the character.
> Make a journal doll for the character.
> Submit a story or roleplay log involving the character as a main character. (350 word minimum)
> Create a journal skin of the character.

* This is not a contest. You can adopt regardless of your skill level.
* You CAN commission/trade others for this stuff if you want, but I'd be careful with that given the time limit.
* Premade linearts cannot be used for these.
* As of 2PM 10/8, there is now further requirements for the description. It seemed way too quick a task to do, so I figured it'd be worthwhile to add a little bit extra to really flesh the character out.

Once you finish, send them to me in my reply to your hold and I will confirm that you now own the character.


What was that about free art?
If you advertise this in a Journal or Poll and successfully adopt one of these characters, I will draw you a colored sketch fullbody OR an animated icon of the character you've adopted! Note, you must successfully adopt one to claim the reward. This means you can't get the drawing as a part of your task. Just clarifying.

Who made these?
Let me know which one you're interested in and I'll tell you the person I have on record for designing it. Some of them have deactivated, and some delete closed adopts, but I can tell you their names in my records. A good quarter of them were made by me.
